Politics and Saucony return with a new project rooted in the Deep South. The Politics x Saucony ProGrid Omni 9 Sportsman’s Paradise serves as a love letter to Southern Louisiana, celebrating the region’s diverse wildlife and outdoor culture.
The Omni 9 upper features an open weave mesh inspired by fishing nets, paired with layered textures drawn from the Southern landscape. The mudguard carries warm, earth-toned hues rooted in the region’s terrain, while hairy suede details add depth across the tongue and lace overlays. Mossy greens move through the quarter, balanced by subtle hits of pink on the tongue and heel that bring contrast inspired by Louisiana’s natural environment.
First released in 2010, the Saucony ProGrid Omni 9 is a defining RetroTech silhouette built on performance led design. Featuring structured cage overlays, breathable mesh, and ProGrid cushioning with Grid Technology, it delivered stability, comfort, and durability in equal measure.
