Designer Lauren Thomas, member of the Mi’kmaq tribe, is inspired by the grit and audacity of her ancestors’ dream for a brighter future, where the youth are seen for their strength. Lauren has a passion for uplifting the community. She knows the importance of representation and wants to continue that legacy as an inspirational role model for generations to come.

Intentional Details
Mixed materials give you added texture and dimension. Inspired by time-tested methods, stitching around the Swoosh adds durability. Ribbon laces serve as an homage to traditional ribbon shirts and powwow regalia.
Originally designed for performance hoops, Nike Air cushioning delivers lasting comfort.
Low-cut, padded collar looks sleek and feels comfortable.
Rubber outsole with heritage hoops pivot circles adds traction and durability.
