Remember the Roswell Rayguns? In the early '00s, Nike Basketball created a fake basketball team for some fun TV spots. Recreating the rollicking '70s era of basketball, the retro ads starred some of Nike's biggest names at the time and became a sensation. The Nike Dri-FIT Premium Rayguns Shorts use appliqués with sequins inspired by some of the funky costumes from the commercials.

Premium Rayguns Style
We went all out on these shorts with high-end trims inspired by the commercials, including a 2-color "RAYGUNS" print and glossy side panels cut and sewn into the body. Star and Swoosh design appliqués are stitched down and embellished with sparkly sequins.

Heavyweight French terry fabric has a premium feel, combining the softness of cotton with the durability of polyester. Dri-FIT technology helps you stay dry and comfortable.
